This is very uncommon in chinese movements, if you look at both these items with the balance removed you will see they are not. It is also important but rarely found that both the stud point and regulator arms with curb pins are at exactly 90 degrees to the centre of jewel (balance staff) or the underside of the cock. It makes sense when designing a balance cock that both the studding point and regulator curb pins rotate on the same axis and both have the same radius from centre balance jewel.
